Marriage has been a sore topic for me as of late. Pres. Bush says that if we let gays marry then the sanctity of marriage will be ruined... BULLOCKS, I say! What of sanctity of marriage anyway? It was ruined when men and women started marrying for tax benifits. When wed couples sneak around on their lunch breaks for a quick slam in the copy room, backs up against the door, so no one will walk in. Marriage became a scam when the divorce rate became the same as the rate of couples who stay together, or when some hoochie whore celebrity can marry an old friend in Vegas for a Friday night kick, just to get it annulled on Monday. When did marriage vows become a suggestion? Who decided that marriage is nothing to be serious about, if it doesn't work out, get divorced and try agian.
Case in point: Corrine and Alden. Now maybe i am being harsh, maybe they fell in love at first site, and all is roses and butterflies and Pachebel all the time. But i doubt it. Especially since this time last year she was engaged to Aaron, and several years ago Alden was hitting on every minor he could get his perverse little self around. What a nasty relationship...and an even nastier marriage. I want to see how long this lasts, any bets on less than a year? Anyone?
Anyway, I am done with my rant...for now.
