What to write, what to write?
Its late, I should be in bed, Dreaming away all my yesterdays.
But here I am exposing myself to the world! Scandalous!!
* Clayton and both his sisters got married this past weekend. What a quickie engagement. Engaged last Friday, Married just of a week Later.
Congrats! We went to Clayton's engagement party and wedding party, and they seem really happy together. And when you put Justin in the picture, they make a pretty happy family. I still feel like they rushed into it a bit, but as I told Mel (when responding to the email she sent me mentioned earlier) it doesn't matter what any of thier friends think, because as long as they are happy and they felt that this was the right thing for them, then as a friend you simply must share in thier happiness. I hope the three of them, Clayton and Jen, Brianne and Shannon(and their husbands, names are so difficult for me to remember) are ridiculously happy in thier new lives. And as much as I know they'd be rolling thier eyes at the sound of this, I will be praying for them.
* Thursday before that, Bryan moved to Dallas, Amanda, Joe, myself, were all there to wish him well as he frantically tried to trailer hitch co. that would lend him a car hauler for an Explorere. We are tenatively planning a trip to Dallas this summer to see him.
* Corey got back into town last Sat. His marriage to Kathy is going to end in an inevitable divorce. Corey said that she wanted to get a divorce, and try again, but Corey is moving on, I dont guess he wants to play any games. He spent the last few months in Iraq, he deals with what he saw through joking about the dead, including those who were killed in his battallion. The war changes people so drastically, and no matter how much they pretend that everything is ok when they come back, its really not.
* Speaking of soldiers, my good friend, who will for our purposes go by Soldier has really had a break through. He told me the other night that he accepts what he is having to go through, and knows that it is all apart of God's plan for his life. Praise God! I am so happy that he has found peace, through an amazing amount of trial, and that he has remained strong when most would have just folded. Yea! for you sweetie!
* So Mel didnt actually move out, infact according to what the landlord told James, Mel was told that if she abandoned the apt. before the lease was up she would have her credit ruined. I am not sure if it made an impression, seeing as she has packed up more of her crap and looks ready to take off in a moments notice. But we shall see. I would just like to see her finish something through to the end, instead of running from her problems. Oh and in case any of you are wondering, the infamous white board, has been replaced with notebook paper, seeing as with the mess she is, she couldnt find a working dry erase marker, and that allowed james to respond to her ridiculous hate mail for all of her friends to see.
* James and I are currently looking for a new church home, not only for Wed. nights, but for Sunday mornings too. I hate searching for new churches, its draining trying to find where you fit, and what church personifies your beliefs, and what church isn't a wolf in sheeps clothing. Have I ever mentioned that I really dislike organized religion and the politics that come along with it? Next week its on ward and forward to Mikey's church!
