(no subject)
Well, week 2 of Annie started last night. From here on out, we're competing with Beauty and the Beast which opened it's preview week last night. I was talking with a friend of mine who's working tech on the show and he said that they are't quite ready. Apparently, half the set needs to be painted, half the costumes arent ready...but that might have changed by last night, so who knows? At any rate, I wish them all the best of luck. It's a very ambitious project. I hope I can see the show, but it basically comes down to cash and time. Even if I have the time to get away from the damn MPC theatre, will I have the cash? Hopefully all the stars and moons align just right and I can go see it. Also, we got reviewed for Annie yesterday in the Go! and the Coast Weekly. I'd link the reviews, but I don't have 'em handy at the moment... but they were both very flattering. As a matter of fact, the one from the Herald had nothing but good things to say about the cast, except for the dog. It apparently is a trained dog, but trained to do what, I don't know. Because it sure as hell can't walk across the stage when it is needed to. But anyway, to all those out there in the ether of the internet, come see Annie before it closes! And on that note...
