Pretentious People suck!
I hate how the human mind works sometimes. I know I don't suffer with this disease alone. Most Americans are socialized exactly like me. A friend of mine came off as being a person who had it all in order and like he was together. Obviously, appearances can be deceiving. I thought I had stopped judging books by covers, knowing the pain of having people think I am more than I truly am. Guess, perception remains that king of my reality. Anyway, I've decided to learn from the situation and use it as a guide to me becoming a person with less expectations of others. Guess there is a lesson even in lies. hmrph!
