the trick is to keep busy. its the down times that can kill ya. me, anyway.
i got out of class at 1, spent an hour in a used bookstore across the street, then sat in my room from 2-830. went to the gym and recomenced sitting around doing nothing by 930 (not much of a work out).
despite the unproductive time blending together, it seems like alot of things are sifting out into 20 minute segments.
20 minutes between the alarm going off and leaving the room.
20 minutes walk to class.
20 minutes for a meal.
20 minutes for my homework.
20 minutes time my roomate spends in the room average per day......i have the biggest single on campus despite the extra bed.
20 minutes between seeing a job listing on a website and coming up with a new plan for the rest of my life.
20 more and i forgot all about it (but i did apply).
thats one thing about adjusting to somewhere new - getting my pace steady, filling my time right. i'm still working on it. i dont like the way it looks right now, gonna need some tweaking.
this isn't what i clicked "update" to write. but i guess it doesnt matter.
