yesterday i went to the bronx to visit my greatgrandmother. it was nice to see her. i found it quite ironic how we were eating an elegant roman dinner of cheese, olives, and bread, in one of the worst neighborhoods in the area. it was me, my sis, mom, dad, aunt, older (age 67, damn older) cousin, greatgrandmother, and her homecare attendant. oh gosh, the condition of her apartment has inspired another story. idk if this one will be as sad as my other ones though. my older cousin has emphasemia, and by the sound of her breathing, i know she is dying.

quotes:
sister upon hearing my beethoven: "what are you listening to?!" disgusted
me: "classical music. im sorry its not lizzie mcguire."

aunt: "do you know what that bitch told me [the homecare attendant]...she said 'ay you look fat, but cute!'. wtf i just met her. oh its on bitch."
me: "just take it where its coming from. shes an old latina living in the bronx. she's bird waste on your windsheild."

the ride home was the best though. i went home with my aunt. she played celia cruz music the whole ride back to freehold, and it was nice. again, the music and celias life has inspired another story. my first story that will be based upon a true story.

oh and im reading white oleander...magnificant. so well written. im 100 pages in so far, and it is sooooo good. oh man i cant wait to go and read now.

sam lewis: the book i ordered for duo stuff came in at b&n...we need to go and pick it up and flip through it soon. they will be holding it for 2 weeks.

im sorry...my entree was so damn ecclectic. now im off to a 1st birthday party with the crazy italian side of the family. i was thinking of typing a story, but shot the idea down. do you know how many nosey people will ask me what im doing, with their maniac children running around me, screaming? yea...so ill just read and drown the world out with the calm sound of flutes, violens, and piano.

god save this world.
