Someone suggested the Hillary blogs are full of hysteria. I wish to give examples of the "Hillary blogs" I read, all of them recent.

But first, a few points:

(1) I find it interesting that blogs which these days primarily discuss presidential electoral politics are still considered "pro-Hillary" blogs. She is out of the equation, at least directly, at least for this election cycle. Yes, it is more complicated than that, but this nonetheless amuses and interests me and even gives me some good feelings.

(2) Shakespeare's Sister and Correntewire are not technically pro-Hillary blogs and a number of people at both places might object to them being identified as such. This is especially true at Corrente, home of mostly civil civil warfare between competing points of view, with other points of view kinda sorta mediating. A *lot* of people at Corrente are solidly in the Obama camp (it was an Edwards blog, at one time; things have since diverged, and I honestly had no idea of its existence before this primary season). And a few of the formerly Hillary blogs are now Obama blogs (i.e. Taylor Marsh, and left coaster was always mixed but I *think* went totally Obama, haven't been there in ages, not remotely the time for reading I used to have) or Obama blogs with still mostly pro-Hillary commenters who are trying to minimize anti-Obama comments (TalkLeft).

(3) Of all these, I only have the LJ feed for talkleft. If anyone knows of any others w/lj feeds, please direct me because you love me?

(4) This has nothing to do with the blogs, but good god/dess/multiplicity/other! When *democrats* are making up shit -- oh, hell, you all know what they made up about Palin by now (which, btw, if it had been true, would not only not have bothered me but, to the relatively small extent I cared at all, have actually made her more sympathetic to me) -- democrats should not be doing stuff like this. Or going on about whether she had sex with her husband before they got married. WTF? Or giving a shit that her daughter is pregnant. Or doing a whole bunch of smears that, as much as anything, target a 17 year old girl. Seriously. When democrats do things like this, I am very, very happy that I no longer identify as democrat. Tho very ashamed that I'm part of the same species as the happy campers over at Kos and Americablog and such.

(5) Thank you to those of you on my f-list, and I mean very sincerely thank you, who don't like Palin, even loathe Palin, but attacked her only on her political stances or even her supposed abuse of authority issue (which is a legitimate issue if she did violate any laws, but I think will backfire hugely on the dems if they push it. I don't think they want to be seen in the public eye as on the side of the guy who beat his wife and tasered his 11-year old and such, and I don't think most folk will be upset with Palin for going after the guy who did this or the guy who helped him get away with it, even if she did something technically improper along the way). As I said in comments on someone else's blog, I suspect the Obama campaign thanks you also.
