So I am back in Corvallis for the next month. On Friday I started working... and while I was dreading it beforehand and wishing that I had more of a break, it only took me about 1 day to remember why I love this job. Once again, I am working with a group of students who are here studying English. This group is Japanese students from Toyo University, and I am staying with them in the dorms and helping out with various activities and field trips and other cultural things. And they are all really nice and excited about everything. It is also a different experience doing this having just come back from being abroad - when I think about how much I appreciated every bit of kindness and generosity that I came across during my travels, it makes what I am doing seem even more worthwhile. So yeah, things are going well so far.
Aside from work, I am freaking out trying to figure out this fall's schedule and what I am going to do with my life after this year. Fun times...
