I've had an astounding revelation about why I'm so stressed and frantic and busy all the time. I take a really long time to get things done. All things. Emailing, homework, getting dressed. All the time. No wonder I can only ever get halfway through my to do list. See also: why I'm always running late, even though I super hate being late.

I wonder if you can add time to your definition of perfect. ie, this is the perfect email that I could write in 5 minutes, the perfect outfit that I could find in 12 minutes, the perfect essay that I could write in 3 days. also get cute clocks!

Hee! You are awesome!! I have a similar problem. Time, she whooshes by and I am always stunned. So much so that I added an alarm on my phone to remind me that it is time to GO to BED! I am also lacking an internal compass. I have zero sense of direction.

Yes, it really becomes apparent in your 30s. Each year after that it just gets worse. I lose hours these days, and I don't really feel like I can spare them anymore :P One of my problems is getting distracted by things and thoughts.
