Brassy Laurel- A large laurel branch focal of fused repurposed brass and glass elements hangs from a copper chain with glass pearl and bead accents. Hook closure. Measures 20 inches long, excluding focal, which is 3 3/4 inches long. (This piece is also for sale)
Ruby Ruby- Twelve vintage red glass faceted beads are linked with nickel wires with a gunmetal finish toggle closure. Measures 9 inches long for a nice drape from the wrist. This piece is also for sale)
Calcaterra- Chunky highly polished stone nuggets with flattened faces are strung on wire with coiled antiqued brass beads and brass hook closure. The focal element of this piece is a vintage hinged brass ornament from Afganistan. Measures 18 inches long, excluding focal, which is 5 inches long. (This piece is also for sale)
Honey Oh- Mixed reclaimed glass bead collar in shades of honey and amber with silver finished accents and toggle clasp. Measures 14 inches long, but is strung on sturdy clear stretch cord to allow it to rest snugly (but comfortably enough for breathing room) against the wearer’s throat. (This piece is also for sale)
Blushing Grey- A rose quartz drop pendant is surrounded by lavender iridescent shell dangles with vintage leaf bails, grey glass pearls, lampwork beads, faceted smoke and mauve beads, and silver finish accents on wire. Measures 18 inches long. (This piece is also for sale)
Koi Pondering- As if captured serenely swishing through water lily roots, the carved agate figural focal of a koi goldfish undulates among glass pearls, pale green aventurine, and silver finish accents. Lobster clasp closure. Measures 18 inches long (excluding clasp). (This piece is also for sale)
Bear Lodge- Carved jasper stone bear focal in warm browns and green, surrounded with dark jade, wood, and jasper beads, with copper accents and hook closure on wire. Measures 17 1/2 inches long (excluding clasp). (This piece is also for sale)
In The Vineyard- Reminiscent of a walk through a Napa vineyard, this bracelet consists of amethyst round and green aventurine tube beads with pewter finish accent beads and grape figural hook clasp on wire. Measures 7 1/2 inches long (excluding clasp). (This piece is also for sale)
Leaves of Three- Green jasper mixes with glass and freshwater pearls, rosewood, clear and green quartz, handmade glass, and pewter accents on wire. It was only after I finished this piece that I noticed how much the focal arrangement looked like poison oak (which would make much less wearable art!).
A Thing With Feathers- This was made a couple of years ago for Mocha Mephooki, based around some carved feather/leaf shaped shells that we found one day. In addition to the shells, this piece includes turquoise, wood, hematite, and pewter beads on wire with a magnetic clasp.
Phoo-KEY- This is another piece that I made for Mocha Mephooki. The focal is a large antique bronze mechanical key, paired with raku pottery beads, vintage copper chain, freshwater pearls, glass bi-cone and crystal beads on copper wire with an antiqued copper toggle clasp.
Shiny Paw!- I think the focal was intended to be a bear paw, but the way it was rendered, it looked much more like a raccoon’s to me. Repurposed Mexican silver pendant with enameled inlay, paired with lentil shaped amethyst beads and pewter accents on wire.
Grape Ice- Deep violet freshwater pearls are paired with amethyst round, clear crackle bi-cone beads, pewter finish accent beads and grape figural hook clasp on wire.
