Can I just mention, I don't think I've done or will be doing much posting in my LJ unless it's to squee about Doctor Who. I mean, I might, but ... I really doubt I have much else going on to chatter about. Apartment is good (need to get furniture and the rest of my stuff), jobs are fine ... So, yeah. DW and online and so forth ... It's still frakking downloading for me, so I can't add to the convo, but I wanted to show off my new icon and I can't stop fanboying over Sally and Larry and I think they should get their own spin-off because they totally rock and are really cute and sweet and I love them so much.

Ack! Well, first of all, that icon is very beautiful! You should make more and pimp them on whoicons. And I agree with you Sally and Larry are love. Second of all, that is the best run-on sentence I've ever seen come out of you ... Or maybe it's the only one. Still, fantastic. Third, report back when you have seen Utopia, because I want to know what you think!!

... In other news, rereading my post just now, I realize that the way I typed squee makes it look like I ran into a wall at the end. XD

I adored the older series. I wish they would release all the episodes they have left on DVD. Thus far, there are only a few.

I'd like to watch the new version, but I'd have to wait until either the school got it on DVD or someone gave us the DVDs.

It's harder to get the DVDs for them in the states, too. :P It does kind of suck. But ... if you ever decide to go the pirate way (because I am a bad person and I do, yarrrr), let me know. I know where you can download them. Or at least, where you could sit at your computer and watch them, depending on your taste (but those aren't that great quality). >.>

Good lord, yes. There can not be enough fangirling about this episode. I did a whole ranty-post myself, but let's reiterate anyway ;).

How awesome was Derek Jacobi! I had totally not expected the regeneration (whee, John Simm!) and kept going 'ohhh, ohmygod, eeeeh!', thus annoying my mother who likes to watch DW undisturbed :p.

I flailed like a crazy fangirl with all that background info we got on Jack, and with the Doctor/Jack (sub)text. Yay for meta!snark!

Two more episodes to go! Eeeeeeh!

They have impressed me so much. They've done four awesome eps in a row, and there's still two left and they look like they're going to just get better ... Oh god, Utopia was SO GOOD.

I knew it was coming - I could feel it in my bones. I just sensed that that had to be where this was all headed. But that didn't keep me from squeeing so hard. Continuously. I had my door closed, and my roommate probably thinks I'm insane now. ;D

YES. The Ten/Jack scene? Where they're having complete eyesex through the door towards the end? OMG. So good. And this ep answered SO many questions! It was fantastic!!!

Quite the subject line, huh? I still haven't seen episodes Two through Ten of the new season but there is no way in Hell I was going to wait to see Episode Eleven. :D

Captain Jack Harkness is a character on Doctor Who and Torchwood, two of my favorite tv shows (up there next to CSI!). They're BBC shows, though. But anyways, he's terribly awesome. And hot. Very, very hot. *nods* (Plus, he kisses boys and girls. But especially boys! Like hot, hot Ianto. *points at icon*)

Ooh. That explains things. I don't have cable. *Sighs* ...And that almost looked like Nick and Greg for a minute. lol. I'm like, "Since when did she ship N/G?" Then, I read the icon and I'm like, "Ooh. That's canon." lol. :D Sounds like a fun show!!
