Enough with the Memes ...
It's been a sucky week for Morgan. My continual bad money handling rears its head again ... Apparently, I over did it over Christmas break, thinking it would be okay because I was going to get a refund check this week that would cover my bills for the rest of the semester. Guess what? The loans people decided not so much, and only gave me $250 instead of the usual grand or so. Good times.
Add to that all the other crap ... Like learning that they're not going to be able to repair the Spyder so Mom has to trade it in to get a new car, which means I'm not getting it. And all my little car issues - my seat belt isn't working, my window's decided it doesn't want to function, my passenger door doesn't want to open, the power steering's making that horrid noise again, and my breaks are going to need replacing soon ... On top of finding out that I don't get to Film Sound TA because they couldn't find room for me, since they have so many returning TAs. Ugh. Life just gets better and better.
I guess I have to look at the bright side of things, but I actually think this final semester may just manage to kill me. Dead. It's creepy that the best thing I have going for me right now is Silver Circus, the project that will probably put me in my grave. I've been putting off the work I should be doing for it, but I really need to buckle down, since we're starting up again on monday. I think money's what's going to kill me in the end. God, I hate money. I just hope to make a bit working for Jon this weekend and maybe Mom will decide not to kill me before I graduate. I really need to get a CA bank account. I just have to give in and do it.
