Give me the rose-colored glasses ... I may need them. Or a stiff drink.

Well, tomorrow (today, really) is the day of reckoning ... Nervous and a bit apprehensive about the meeting this coming morning. Knock on wood and send me good vibes/prayers/karma/etc., everyone. I can use all the help I can get, I think.

In other news, I ran into yet another friend from undergrad at work today. He was the main actor in my one act as well as being in both of my Banned Books productions, and he was also part of the student production company at one point, if I remember properly ... Totally a great kid, one of those people who's always positive and nice to be around. Right now he's doing child wrangling for the Company, I'm guessing he's probably a working actor in the area. I didn't get to talk to him much, just for a few minutes in passing, but it was very random out of nowhere.

I was locked out because I'd dropped my id in the office, and I saw someone coming up to the dock. I went over to ask if he could let me in, as I saw his id hanging around his neck, and he said he'd be glad to. I had only glanced at him and didn't really recognize him, so when, a second later, he was all, "It must be a good seven years since I last saw you! How are you?" I stopped in my tracks and turned to take a good look at him. Hugs were then necessarily exchanged, well wishes exchanged and so forth. I love it when that happens. Although, I hope he doesn't think I blanked him, because I don't think I actually called him by his name the whole time. Hopefully I'll get to see him again, just to catch up. He'll make, like, number six or seven of the other UNC kids that seem to exist round and about the DCTC. Fantastic.

Okay, I'm gonna try and get some more sleep - I totally conked out for nearly 4 hours on the couch when I got home. I must be worn out. XD If anything happens on the morrow, I'll definitely post about it ... Oh and happy happy birthday, kennedy_unknown! *many hugs* I hope it was great.
