So, yes, this may sound like an obvious revelation to some, but I have recently found a deep and abiding love for Death Cab for Cutie. I have lourved The Postal Service for some time, and I've heard a number of Death Cab songs and enjoyed them and, here's the fun part, for some reason I never equated the two. Panic At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, The Hush Sound and The Academy Is... are a few I'd suggest, if you haven't already heard them. But then again, maybe I'm biased toward the Fueled by Ramen label.

I have heard numerous good things about all these bands ... The Hush Sound in particular intrigues me, and I've always enjoyed what I've heard of FOB. I shall investigate this further.

The Decemberists are my #1 favorite band of all time (tied with Radiohead, that is). Therefore your other choices must be made of win. I have especially heard excellent things about Andrew Bird and am wondering why I don't have anything of his yet. ^^

I'm really enjoying them so far, although I've only really listened to their newest album, so we'll see how I like some of their older stuff as I get more down to it. And yeah, sure, I'll friend you.
