A visit last week
People say that Ithaca is out in the middle of no where, and that's really not true. It's in the middle of hills and woods and lakes, and if you're not used to it that might mean "in the middle of nothing to do", but you are definitely somewhere. I mentioned it to some of my friends, but when I travel by car or by bus to Ithaca, and I start seeing the hills and the trees of upstate New York, I always feel like I'm returning home.
