Hot Day!!
It definitely hit 90 today. Absolutely gorgeous day.
I had my interview in Marblehead. It went awesome, ie: I almost, almost have the internship. He gave me a tour of the building (an old house), and talked about the types of counseling and programs they do (lots of stuff!). Then we had the official interview. I did really well. After so many interviews, you start to get really good at them! At the end he was saying how well-spoken I was, how comfortable I was with myself, and that this would be a perfect match for me. This got me excited. The only concern he had was my age, in that some of the older patients may not take me as seriously because I look young. He said most of their clients didn't care, but it might be a concern. He has to talk it over with the rest of the staff. Aside from this, I pretty much have it. It all comes down to if they decide that it's ok. At least I have a good chance, and I'm hoping so much that it goes through. Searching for practicum placements has been a nightmare, both for me and several of my classmates. This is the only stress on me right now, and to alleviate that...
Now I'm off to enjoy the rest of the day with Dom. No classes tonight or tomorrow! Woooo!
