Merry Christmas!
Hope everyone enjoyed their day!
We decided on a small Xmas this year, what with both Jenn and I in college. I got:
- DVDs:
Grave of the Fireflies
Princess Bride
Harry Potter: Prisoner of Azkaban
- 2005 Calendar: Chinese Paintings
- (3) $50 gift certificates to Angelica's for Dom and I (from 3 different family members, it was rather comical but we're thrilled!)
- A few clothing items
- Money
We had a wonderful rib roast dinner with all the trimmings. It's one of my favorite meals and continues to be.
Later, I visited Dom and his family. His parents, get this, bought me a Nintendo DS! I was IN SHOCK. Dom also got one, even though he didn't ask for one (but obviously we were going to buy one eventually). Unfortunately, there was a fire in the Amazon warehouse, so the shipment was delayed. We are expecting it to arrive Monday.
Then finally came the gifts to ourselves. Or each other. Either way. We each bought an iRiver H320, after much comparing of mp3 players over the past few weeks. 20GB, color display, picture viewer, voice recorder, a fun "toy"! Bonus: got it for a bit less than the price of the Ipod. Because we just ordered them today, they probably won't arrive 'til the end of the week. In the meantime, we have our DS's to enjoy.
So overall, a great Xmas.
Now I have about a week to totally relax before I have to register for classes and whatnot.
