O Flux, How I Missed Thee

Nov 13, 2004 00:39

The 3-month absence of the Cobalt Flux has come to an end. Dom's parents got the new carpet in and our DDR setup is back up and running. We played a few rounds today and it was great! It felt so good to be able to play again. This is a major plus for the documentary, as part of our angle is that we play at home on our own setup.

It snowed all day today. It's what, just about mid-November, and there's tons of snow on the ground. Ok, not tons. But more than there should be. Before I left Dom's, I had to actually clean my car off (and boy, had it accumulated!) and then drive home really slow. I was cold, my fingers were numb. It sucked.

It's merely a few days before my birthday, and I almost forgot about it. Almost. Birthdays just don't hold as much of the importance or "weight" that we placed on them as kids. Having completed all the traditional "milestone" birthdays, 22 begins the age of true adulthood (in my mind anyway). It's odd, or maybe I think about these things too much.

With that said, 4 more weeks 'til I graduate!
