Took the MAT (Miller Analogies Test) yesterday for grad school. They were so easy, well at least I was one of the few that thought so. After the 1-hour test, the proctor said "So that wasn't so bad right?" and like half the classed groaned and said it was horrible. I was like, er no? Out of 120 questions, I blew through 95-100 of them. There were some I was unsure and some I had no clue! I didn't want to waste time so I just went back to them. The cool thing was the test is usually 100 questions, and they were testing 20 more for future tests. Dunno if they count or not, but you couldn't tell which ones they were. So for anyone going to grad school, I recommend these if your school accepts them instead of the GRE (which is a couple hours and very comprehensive).
So for Suffolk 46 is the average raw score (i.e. not program-specific), and for Lesley I need a 40 or better for the counseling program. I just hope I did as well as I thought I did. I'll be finding out in about 3 weeks.
Brought Dom over from NEU so he could sleepover. It was fun, he hasn't been at my dorm in over a month. I do have to go to class today, so I'll be bringing him to the mall so he can play DDR (he can't stay at my dorm because of the sign-in/sign-out procedure). Then we're going home! I hope my new bedroom set arrived. Regardless, I'll be cleaning my room and hanging out with my sis!
Gonna work on some data structures before class....
