Considering that in Slovenia we already have a lake that is sometimes there and sometimes not* we should have perhaps not been surprised that we apparently have a river that took a couple of days' worth of vacation.
Iška is a river I've taken numerous picnics nearby in my life and that has never done this before (
well, now it's come up that it's happened once during WW2, hmmm).
It just disappeared. Empty riverbed. Dead fish. And reappeared a few days later.
But, you know, the first thing I thought when I heard the news Iška disappeared was: 'Why would someone be making this up when it's not April fools.'
It's kind of hard to fake photos like that though.
