I realised I haven't updated for an absolute age and probably should. Or I'll go and forget everything.
I'm back in Paris and it feels as though I never even left. Im really not sure if this is a good or bad thing. Do I feel as comfortable here as I do at home? I think its probably mostly to do with the fact that the holidays went SO quickly. I just wanted to literally slow time down, digging my heels into the ground so the days wouldn't pass so quickly. It didn't work though.
I'll do a brief run through.
I got back to Waterloo and Iain was there with flowers :) and then my mum and dad came and we drove back home and stopped at an amazing american-style diner on the way and I had pancakes and bacon and maple syrup. It reminded me of Canada, YUM.
That night we went to the Glee club to see Fyfe who was absolutely mindblowing and just improves every time I see him or Guillemots. Amazing.
The rest of the week was spent mostly frantically trying to buy everyone Christmas presents but it included an awesome shopping trip/hang out with Si and Bri's 21st which was most excellent in spite of the difficulties in finding the place!
Then it was CHRISTMAS week and I spent time with absent family and friends and got spoilt rotten and ate enough buffet food to make me explode. It was so so much fun but went by FAR too quickly.
Then it was New Year's and we went to Stu's house party which was lots of laughs and then Iain and I ended up at a notorious dogging spot eating fried chicken and chips. Oh the japes. We had our (now) traditional new years day walk but ended up getting absolutely soaked through so went home to get dry and play board games :)
The rest of the week was spent cramming as much time in with the boy as possible until I returned continental-side on Friday.
And now I am here and have three weeks with an unimaginable work load and then two weeks of exams and I wish I could press fast-fast forward.
ARGGHHH.
