Cinema: Review
Yesterday i saw
this Romanian film known as 4 Months, 3 Weeks & 2 Day. If i force myself to choose one word to describe it, i should say: overwhelming. I felt all the tension of the script in every part of my body while i was seeing this film. In fact, every second makes you feel the opression and repression as a characteristic or distinctive of living in Romania under dictatorship (80s), which is the main reason for the existence of the film: an introduction to a society forced to live by the rules of a despotic government. In other words, If you'd like to see a realistic and strong plot about how to deal with an illegal abortion under dictatorship and all the deprivation of liberty, you should sit in your sofa and enjoy this fine piece of art.
Literature: Writing style
Lately, i've been reading Proust, À la recherche du temps perdu. I'm completely in love with him. He has a very interesting style: long sentences. He makes you lose in time. It's hard to say where or when you are when you're reading his first part known as Combray. I read a lot of voices, i should say that i just adore that kind of writing skill: polyphonie. I'm not currently in love with the most moderns writers. In general, they use short sentences and all the temporal situation is so ponctual. Everything sounds so boring in that way. Maybe it's me who's tired with the modernity. I'l always prefer the XIX century style.
Personal life
Maybe on the next episode i'll explain my familiar situation and all that jazz. Now, i'm off to sleep.
See ya.
