One thing (but not the only thing) I'm proud of...
I always used to catch myself saying that I had little to nothing to be proud of. That was probably my mantra for an entire two year period, I doubt I went a day without it crossing my mind.
I'm proud of my bookshelf, I should read more.
That's not really what I meant back when I was so critical of myself, I was looking for a greater connection. I think I should start seeking that again. I think that while many people may be upset with the way the world around them runs it's course there are very few people who will take the initiative to shape that world into how they would like it to be. Many will wait around for someone else to take the first step, and for something to become popular before latching onto it.
Although now I might have quite a bit that I can be proud of these days, I think there's still some lessons that I have yet to learn and some to re-learn from the life of "old drew"
Life is good, but it would be foolish to think that it is satisfactory.
