Eeeeeh it was brilliant. I love the new Wembley, it seems a lot smaller than the old one weirdly. The first half we were about halfway up but I'm a short arse and Karen's even shorter than me so it was hard to see. At least I could sometimes see his head when the crowd parted for a split second. Poor Karen didn't see him at all.
Strangely there was an intermission about 40mins in. We went to get a drink and something to eat and decided to stand up the back. Well it seems like the pitch is sloped a bit so at the back we could see the stage and had loads of space to dance. I haven't had a boogie like that since, well V2006 I suppose, but better.
Watching the Isle of Wight festival at the moment and although I loved GM and wouldn't have missed it for the world I'm slightly gutted I missed the IOW. It'll always have a special place for me as it was the first festival I went to. It looked brilliant this year. Am off to see Motley Crue tomorrow mind you. Also Faithless are playing Wireless at Hyde Park next week and Muse playing Wembley. I'd like to go to both so who knows.
Am having doubts about moving back to Scotland. Just that the last couple of weeks have been brilliant and I've been really happy. Work has been difficult because of Chirpy McHyper but apart from that I've even been enjoying that a bit. I'm going up in a fortnight for 2 weeks, I'd decided that I'd make my mind up then anyway. If I really enjoy myself for the two weeks then I'll see. If I hate it and am desperate to get back then I have to rethink my future. It was a pretty big decision to make and at a time when I was grieving and involved in the whole AA thing, probably not the best time to make life changing decisions.
