It's funny. So much is said about women wanting bad boys, liking jerks, waning men they can fix, etc.
It's often just seen as something weird about women, maybe tied in with some evo psych or something.
But, if you think about it, our culture in general admires and rewards jerks and sociopaths, particularly when it comes to money. When it comes down to people with admirable traits like generosity, empathy, and compassion, we pay them lip service, but our real respect goes to people who are at the very least violent, and don't worry about whom they're hurting, and we quickly look for justifications to harm, proof that the harmed was not innocent in SOME way. We love "tough decisions" and "tough love." If someone can be fooled, then we have the right to manipulate them.
Our entire culture loves and rewards jerks. We create a world in which nice guys finish last, and we like it that way.
So why do we wonder why women go for "bad boys?"
