Three weeks, my friends, three weeks.
Things I'm excited for in France & otherwise need to do before I leave:
- See the Chateaux de la Loire
- Go surfing with my host family at Trinite-sur-Mer
- Eat escargot or huitres
- Bake American cookies correctly
- Picnic in the Thabor
- See Leor and Keara, take them to my favorite galette place.
- Go to the Etangs d'Apigne
- See an opera
- Swim in the backyard slightly-larger-than-kiddie pool
- Go on a long bike ride
- Kayak in the canals by Amy's house
(Some of many) Things I'm excited to do/see in the United States when I get back (in no particular order):
- ETHAN
- Sit on the couch and watch OnDemand in English
- Lake house, condo, and other outdoorsy goodness
- DRIVE MY (ANY) CAR
- Parker!
- See my family, especially Greg
- Hang out with my friends, especially you
- Sing in my car
- Set up the apartment for next year, even though I won't be in it over the summer
- Hopefully reunite with the Dean people for another semester of campaign fun
- Not feel guilty for speaking English
I come back May 27. Ridiculous.
