Lisa's kissing men like a long walk home (but she's also painting!)
Some afternoon in June, lemmingsolution let me vent my frustration over a sad loss to the living room. I wanted a certain print from the super-amazing Audrey Kawasaki (which would have been perfect to hang over my cha tansu!), but I and my wallet weren't quick enough.
Lisa said she would make me a portrait, as she'd been wanting to try her hand at painting on wood--she's also a fan of Audrey Kawasaki, and because she's cool like that. She painted me with Victorian accoutrements and brassy bits and bobs all done with watercolor on wood. I think it's pretty spectacular. Thank you, Lis!! What an awesome way to celebrate 14 years of friendship!*

*Our 10 yr. high school reunion is tomorrow and Lisa can't make it. T_____T Here's hoping it'll be at least half as fun as Oscar's.
