Erm, right. So, graduate school is already kicking my ass. The reading never. freaking. stops. I didn't really think that everyone was exaggerating the craziness of grad school, but I guess I didn't really get it. Holy crap, I get it. And I'm only three days in! It's good, and I like what I'm doing, but WOAH. The reading. And the reading. And at least I'm a fluent English-speaker, (well... on most days of the week). We have several international students in our program whose English skills are definitely much better than my skills in any foreign language, but still. Dense journal articles, 100+ pages a night? Gah. Even I'm hurting.
