In Fredericton
Ok, this will be extremely short, 'cause I'm meant to be working. But since it's been since June since I posted last, I thought I'd better.
We've made the move to Fredericton - and so far it's great! The city is really nice, our apartment is less than a 10-minute walk to my office in the Biology building on campus (although it does have a few other drawbacks :) and it's only about 15 minutes walking to downtown and the river! So far, we've been madly trying to unpack and get organized, but it's much trickier than we thought it would be - trying to dig our way out of stuff we packed up over 3 years ago isn't a simple task! But it's coming along.
Ok, so that'll have to do for now. I'll post as soon as I can, including photos and excerpts from our journal on Nasaruvaalik Island, our island of terns in high arctic Nunavut. But for now, I must get a little organized and get some school-related work done!
