War in Georgia
Any one who does not get there news from CNN or any other American news agency probably knows that Georgia and Russia are in a full out conflict. Last night, while Russia was dropping bombs over Georgia CNN thought it was more important to discuss John Edwards sex life. The crazy liberal side of me wants to believe that the right wing media is trying to destroy his career at the risk that he will be the VP for Obama. The more observant side of me believes that we as Americans are so starved and ashamed of sex that we need to get our pornography from cnn. Hey Lindsay Lohans showing her cooch! Grab me some tissues! Apparently who is having sex with who is more important than the 2000 who have died already. I almost feel like boycotting all American news and relying solely on bbcnews and other foreign online news sources. I do believe getting multiple view points is important but I don't even get a viewpoint if they refuse to cover something as important as a war.
