this is even worse than that time i found out about the arcade fire like, a year after everyone else! HOW COME no one told me that the gossip sounds like the perfect love-child of karen o and jack white?!?!?! (come to think of it, those two actually should look into having a baby together... mad scientists of the world, make it happen.) i'm kind of flabbergasted that i've never listened to them before now, because their 2006 album is going to be my life soundtrack from now on.

also i could watch the vid for heavy cross FOREVER not only because the song is insanely catchy but the swirling glitter is hypnoticcccc
