the best day to be in boston
marathon monday is always the best day in boston. the streets are just lined with people cheering on runners and it's so much fun. everyone's so happy.
the cops also don't really give a crap what's going on. people just bring out cups of beer and are sitting on the sidelines. we even had a barbecue going. it was awesome.
then we saw our friend running the race and we ducked under the ropes and ran the last mile with her. we tried getting the crowd to cheer for her. so now i can say i ran in the boston marathon... woo!
the weather was also perfect! it was so warm out.
too bad i might not be here for next year. ah well. it was fun while it lasted.
