So apparently there's rumblings at work again about making me a manager. This seems to happen at every restaurant I work at. Burger King, Lees Famous Recipe, now McDonalds. The hiring manager that rec'd me is my aunt's friend, so my doing a good job at work reflects well on her, too. She's the one that dropped by our store and heard from the manager at the time that I'm a good worker and can be relied on to come in when they need me to. I tend to get along with everyone well, too.

Problem is, I don't want to be a manager. I've seen what other managers do to each other. All the in-fighting and stress are just not worth getting paid more and having guaranteed hours. Not to mention job security becoming less stable because of all the things you can suddenly get in trouble for, even if you're not there. I get along with my coworkers, but I certainly don't want to be responsible for them.
