Gone till August, unless I can use a roommate's computer
it's been a while since i've updated, but i guess i dont really have anything exciting to say.
work @ lab's been going well these last 2 weeks--i've had a great time working on stuff, and working indepedently has made me feel pretty accomplished. i hang out with people from lab a lot--soon i'll become one of those people that live there. ...*shudder* i was just kidding.
this weekend though, took a trip to galveston with people at work, and it was fantastic. fishing! and crabbing! the fishing part was a bit more exciting since i actually caught some fish. no such luck with the crabs. and, of course, no trip is without disaster--aside from getting drenched from torrential rains and having to sit in soaking with clothes for 2 hours until we got back home, i forgot to apply sunscreen to my chest and my feet, so now i've got the oddest sunburns. yeah that chest burn is going to work really great with my dressy business clothing for my internship.
speaking of, im leaving for that tomorrow. will be in DC for 2.5 months until august 13th. im effin excited--it's going to be great! im worried about the state that i left some things in, but i guess it'll have to be taken care of through long-distance email -_- which will be uber-fun, since i dont have a laptop with me.
if everything works out, i'll be stopping in vegas for the OCA conference. fingers crossed my friend, fingers crossed.
