[ Her introduction to Luceti had been one full of surprises. Traversing blindly through forests in the rain, uncharacteristic random acts of kindness, inquiring strangers, finding her temporary lodge and obtaining a dry change of clothes (a t-shirt & leggings; rider suit left at home)... Anyone else would be exhausted after a grand adventure, but she's just tired -- bored. She's found a few individuals that could be deemed "strong," but when she thinks about what she left behind in Ikebukuro... all she feels is a vague sense of sadness.
Well, now that she's in town, she can explore and get a bite to eat. Which finds her here in Good Spirits -- she sits herself on a barstool, looking around for other patrons but never thinking to look at the bartender. After all, don't the rowdy types usually frequent places like these? Not the smartest opponents, but it'd be easy to find a fight here, at least... This kind of anxiousness is unhealthy. ]
Water, please. Food, whatever can be easily and quickly prepared. Not picky, but famished.
[ ... what a strange way of speaking. that's distinctly japanese to him. it wouldn't surprise him if it actually wasn't, but he hasn't heard someone else speak in such a strange way since he arrived here. it's enough to make the bartender pause in what he's doing - as he should, because it means that glass he was just cleaning can be put to good use. ]
Ahh, sorry. We don't have any food here. I could get you a milkshake.
[ ... That voice sounds eerily familiar. It's enough to make her skin prickle (a feeling in her muscles that tells her that she'd like nothing more than to run away). But her look-around the bar is keeping her from acting immediately. She's slowed from the bombardment of information she's been taking in constantly since she first arrived. ]
Milkshake, no problem. As long as glucose levels are increased, I will recover. Deepest gratitude. Will tide over- [ Finally turning around... ] Until --
[ He doesn't recognize her? He doesn't recognize her. He doesn't recognize her. Okay. Okay, okay. This is okay. She'd worn a helmet when she first encountered him, after all. And she'd only said a few words to him before they fought, so...
But this is also Luceti. Past entries in the journal said that people could come from different time periods. Is that what the case is?
... And shouldn't it be more important to focus on the fact that he doesn't recognize her?? Why is she wondering how... ]
[ what a weird girl... aa, maybe she's new? probably. new feathers can be really jumpy. he gives a nod and sets about making out a milkshake for the stranger. ]
If you're really hungry, there's a restaurant nearby called the Seventh Heaven. We only serve drinks here.
[ "Different hunger," she's almost tempted to reply. But even though he wouldn't understand, it'd still reveal too much. Anyway, this "Shizuo" seems really... calm. So different from when he had thrown her motorcycle, kicked a car, bent back her rifle... ]
You, a bartender...? [ And she's completely disregarding the useful information to ask what's plainly obvious!! ]
Shizuo. [ oblivious as ever. he's used to people attempting conversation with him... albeit, never in that weird, disjointed way of speaking. he doesn't mind. ] You must be new.

She obeys and, oh boy, she's tense. But so excited at the same time. So much so that she's at loss for words, for once. ]
Thanks...
