It's a beautiful day and Drew hasn't been flying in a few weeks because the weather has been lousy, so he was going to go after work today.
He first he did his inspection of the plane. Looking under the hood (or whatever they call it on a plane) he notices that something is not right in the engine compartment.
It looks like someone decided to call it home.
According to the intertubes, Robins usually only lay 3 to 5 eggs. This one is an overachiever. Or took those fertility drugs like Jon & Kate Plus 8.
According to Wikipedia, the Robins are protected by the Migratory Bird Act and you can't move their eggs. Not to mention that if you do, the mother abandons them and they die. We already accidently murdered some robins last year. We were cutting down overgrown bushes in front of the house and when I was cutting off all the branches, a robin flew out. I didn't think much of it since there are birds all over the place. But then after I took off most of the branches so that we could pull it out, we found her nest with about three eggs in it. We put it in a tree, but I'm sure the squirrels just ate them because it was gone the next day. So we can't kill these - not that we purposely would anyway. He has to wait to fly somewhere between two to three weeks - or more, but we're hoping for earlier - before they leave the nest.
I think it's so hilarious, yet appropriate that the little birds will take their first flight from an airplane. LOL
And, while looking up about Robins, I clicked on
this image to learn what the symbols meant. Go down to the "How to translate into your language" section and read the very last bullet point. LMAOas;dlfkja;sldfkja;sldkfj
