I have dial-up (curses) so I can't actually see the pics, but I also love Rose and the Doctor. My husband is a big fan of all the Dr. incarnations and he got me hooked. I think their stories, even the really old ones, are actually better than Star Trek's. I've come to see that the Borg are just Dalek rip-offs. Exterminate. Exterminate. We're on season 3 here, I think. So, umm, just thought I'd say I appreciate your Doctor enthusiam/icons etc.

Oh, and I also feel your back-to-school pain. I discovered a leak in the roof today while I was sitting at my desk and getting wet. And the fans for the bathrooms are on the floor of my room. Why? Why does all the junk end up in my room? And why does the photocopier always turn evil when I need it? Why? The only good news is that I am pretty sure the classroom hamster is dead. It disappeared on the last day of school in June and hasn't been seen since early July.

I'm really not a huge fan of this episode. The plot just doesn't grab me the way some of the others do. (And besides, I like Mickey, and I hate how idiotic he is in this ep.) But I love what you've pointed out about the instant connection between her and the Doctor. That's what's great about their relationship, is that they're just so comfortable around each other right from the start. And that grin on her face when she decides yes, she's going. Aww.

OMGDOCTORWHOFTW!!!

You just discovered The Doctor? I JUST DISCOVERED THE DOCTOR! Sorry for the overexcite but I'm so psyched. I literally just finished Season 1. I mean.. like, I JUST watched it, and then I found the little secret episode on YouTube, where David Tennant does his gorgeous bit, and THEN I watched the YouTube Doctor Who special of The Weakest Link (Have you seen this yet, it is FANTASTIC) and it just further supports my theory that all scottish men are gorgeous and funny and I want to go swimmning in their accents. I'm waiting impatiently for Netflix to ship me my Season 2. *bounces*

I tried watching one of the old ones but I can't get into it now, especially since I've got Eccleston and Tennant on the brain, and the lovely Rose Tyler. I am not looking forward to when Rose leaves. I AM TOTALLY A ROSE/DOCTOR SHIPPER! Ahhhh the combined agony and joy of obsession!

P.S. I like this screencapping idea and I hope you do it for every single episode out there, because it is EXACTLY what I want to do but don't have the technology or expertise to manage. Usually what I do is pause for a moment at nice faces or replay a significant moment, but now I can look at your screencaps!!!!!!! *writhes*
