Yeah, Rika's noticed that too, I think. It's not a major danger in camp, usually, though I do think the CFUW games are leading a lot faster and harder in that direction. The difference I see between them is that part of Rika's underlying rationale is that she enjoys acting like Bernkastel? She knows it's not good for her in the long run, but...in a lot of ways, I think Bernkastel is who Rika would like to be. She's strong, she can hurt people without consequences, no one else can hurt her, she can play games all she wants, she's utterly independent of everyone but Lambda and Featherine.
It's not someone who she wants to sacrifice everything else she loves for, mind you, and Bernkastel is someone who is fundamentally incapable of doing anything else by her entire attitude towards things. But being around Lambda lets Rika play around acting like Bern without the consequences, and Rika likes that. It's not particularly good for her, but considering Rika's a 10 year old alcoholic it's not like that's ever stopped her.
And also, I think acting like Bern is more who Rika thinks she is when she's not pretending. I don't think that's true (she's awfully childish and cute around Akasaka, and she's not faking it there), but...hmmm. Generally, outside Minagoroshi, Rika is either lying by implication, playing, or drunk and despairing. Rika knows the first is a lie. I think the second is the most true Rika, but I think Rika thinks the third is the most true, because that's who she is when she's introspective. And that self is by far the most like Bern. So Rika appreciates not having to lie around Lambda? But doesn't realize how much not lying doesn't involve acting like Bern.

So basically Rika has identity issues.
