Good times at salvation army

Aug 18, 2004 22:16

For the record, for those of you who have read kristens recent post, I did not buy undergarments from the salvation army. I refuse to buy anything other than 8 year old boy's previously worn tshirts, netsirk.

Anyhoo, the long awaited trip to salvation army finally happened tonight. Me, my mum, kristen, and liz all made the two minute drive to the closest salvo in rockville. Upon arrival, it seemed our trip was made sed frusta, [in vain for all of you non-Ecce romani latin scholars out there] when we saw a couple of teeny boppers very similar to ourselves browsing the little boys tshirt section. Those bitches. However, after sifting through the measly selection rockville offers, we all came away with at least two tshirts each. Kristen even bought a pair of $1.50 knock off skechers originally from payless. 50% off senior night at salvo is indeed worth it. Thanks mum.

[If none of us get lice or chicken pox or some other 8 year old boy related disease from our little shopping excursion it will truly have been a success.]

So readers, shop at salvo. Its no longer acceptable to spend more than 1.50 on a tshirt.
