Just a little recap
Saturday night after working as a lifeguard all day I was introduced to the phenomenon of punk rock bands. Kristen dragged my ass unwillingly to a show in Somers, where I was repeatedly bumped and pushed by kids going crazy over what seemingly to me was fairly terrible music. I was also not informed that wearing sandals to a show was a faux pas, and was forced to keep to the edges of the crowd to protect my teva clad feet. Needless to say it was not the time of my life. However a change of scenery is always nice, and it was amusing, if not utterly surprising, to see the states of some of the band members. [mmmm for you kristen].
Anyways, sunday rounded out the weekend with a family party up in Mass followed by a frantic drive from mass to dzens where I worked yet again. Hopefully I will be paid soon.
On another note, Kate and I saw Harry finally yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately, as usual, I was disappointed by the movie, as it in no way lives up to the book, and multiple times during the movie I wanted to leave for fear of falling asleep due to boredom. But hey you can't beat the four dollars we paid at enfield matinee.
And today as usual I woke up around noon and went out to lunch avec my pops. Perhaps I will run to work today seeing as I haven't exercised in three days and can now be classified as a professional fat ass. Perhaps.
Dzens 5-8 today [tuesday], 1030-5 wednesday, 4-9 friday, and 4-9 saturday. Do visit.
