Christmas Ornaments Day 23
From now until Christmas I am going to post one picture a day of an ornament that means something to me and why. I hope it will get me back into the habit of writing again and I think it it’s a neat idea and some interesting things can come out. So spread the cheer.
This ornament was made by my sister one year for a geometry project. Its one of a few that are left in the house because she also gave them away on her presents that year. We have always had a spider web on the tree. It comes from an old legend that my mom always liked to tell us each year as we were putting up the tree. There are several different versions that can e found online but I like the version we were always told about the spider weaving the blanket for the Christ baby.
