Hello, I haven't updated in a while but that's mostly because my life isn't really that exciting and I don't want to bother boring you with it. I'm updating now for 2 reasons, both to do with Skins.
So I was on the E4 website looking through Skins pictures so that I could make some icons for my awesome AU couple which is yet to be named, and I got a little sidetracked as one does with my attention span, and I ended up looking through behind the scenes pictures from episode 10 in series 3. After browsing through the cuteness that is Kaya Scodelario, Ollie Barbieri, Jack O'Connell and Luke Pasqualino I eventually came across this picture...
And under it they wrote Jack and Kaya filming a scene that was deleted. And all I could think was (excuse my French) why the fuck did they delete that scene?! Now I am a very hardcore Cook/Effy shipper. They're my favourite ship from this generation so you can imagine my anger when I found out that a scene as awesome as this was deleted from my favourite episode of series 3! I WANNA WATCH THAT SCENE GOD DAMMIT! I mean, is it on the DVD or something cos I really wanna know what happens in it and what they say to each other and how this kiss happens and Freddie's obvious dissaproving headshakes at their love. She chose Freddie in this episode so I kinda thought hope was lost for Ceffy (which I don't anymore thanks to suggestive nods to each other in series 4) therefore a kiss would have been awesome. I'm not complaining, the episode had some of the best Ceffy scenes in the entire series but still, the more kisses the better! And look at JJ watching them. You can just tell that this scene would have been epic. I am severely dissapointed that this scene was not included!
Okay so I've been reading comments here and there on LJ about Katie/Cook. Everyone seems to love the idea of these two together and want to see some Cootie (what an awesome couple name) scenes in future episodes. Now don't get me wrong, I love Katie fucking Fitch and Cookie just as much (or even more) as the next person, and I would love some scenes between them in the future (think of the epicness) but as for them being a couple I just really don't see it working.
Maybe it's because, like I mentioned before, I'm a hardcore Ceffy shipper but I honestly don't think that's the case seeing as I also ship Cook/Emily pretty hard (even though sadly they'll never be more than friends). So I started trying to see why people liked them because it seemed like a fun ship to root for. And yes, Cook and Katie have a lot of similarities. Infact they've reminded me of each other a lot this series and a bit last series. (i.e. Cook/Paddy - Katie/James and kinda Emily, Cook beating up guy in club - Katie punching out chav, "I'm Cook!", "I'm Katie fucking Fitch"). So I can see why everyone loves them together because, yes, they would be perfect for each other but I still wasn't feeling it.
This dissapointed me because I live Katie so much and when I love a character I feel the need to love that character with some one so I started thinking who else I'd ship Katie with but Freddie was already a disaster, JJ just couldn't handle a HBIC like Katie, Thomas would be okay but I like their friendhsip better. So I was giving up hope on finding a perfect partner for Katiekins when it hit me. The most absolutely perfect ship ever! It works because this is in a way very similar to Cook who is similar to Katie. They would have some crazy hot scenes. They would look so pretty together. They would be the most bedass scheming couple ever to walk the earth. Effy's reaction to it all would be absolutely priceless!
If you haven't figured it out yet Katie's perfect man is none other than Tony Stonem! Think about it. how fucking epic would they be?! Their scenes would be fantastic, Effy would hate it so much it would be hilarious. I bet their love story would be amazing.
You could have like Tony come back from college to visit Eff and she would introduce him to her friends. Katie would see him and think he's well fit and decide since she has no current man in her life she would chase after him because she's also heard stuff about him and she already knows his coolness. So she'd try to seduce him but he has some random girlfriend in college, (just to make things more interesting), maybe he's still dating Michelle, I don't know. Anyway he would turn her down cos he loves Michelle blah blah blah. but Katie would have none of it cos she's Katie fucking Fitch and if she wants something she'll get it.
Meanwhile Effy would introduce Tony to her (gag) boyfriend, Funsponge McClair. Freddie would be himself with judgemental headshakes and yawn-inducing smalltalk and Tony would not approve because Freddie turned Effy boring and she's not herself anymore and Tony hates that. He would question her love for Freddie and Effy would be pissed but hide it cos she loves Tony too much to fight with him. She'd insist that Tony needs to get to know him better. Then Cook would burst in (they'd be somewhere public where bursting in would not be out of context) with all his Cookie glory and introduce himself to Tony (he wasn't there when Tony met everyone else). Tony would know who he was because Effy would have mentioned him before and since Cook and Tony are so alike he would like Cook immediately and so he would decide it's his job to make Effy see the horrible mistake she made and although he doesn't like to he would manipulate Effy into dumping Freds and taking Cook back.
While back to Katie's story (sorry I'm totally writing a mini fanfic right now) she would dress in her best leopard print but actually be able to pull it off and go seduce Tony again. The gang would all go to a club with Tony and while they're there Thomas would try to win back Panda (I'm just throwing that there for a subplot-ish sort of thing) but Tony's back and Panda would be staring at his cock again (yay for past season references) so Thomas can't get none. And Thomas would get jealous but since he has a newfound friendship with Katiekins he would got to Tony and tell him that Katie's great and that he should go after her. Tony would be intrigued and decide to give it a shot. So when Katie goes up to him to flirt he'd be like, yo what's the dealio with Freffy, why's Effy dating that bland boy dawg, but you know, not like that. Katie would tell him the Cook/Effy/Freddie/Katie love story of series 3 and he'd be like bitch you did what with Fred-dawg? Cos you know Katie's impressed him and it's hard to believe she would go for some one like Mr McClair, so she'd be like yeah i don't know why I did that, he has a tiny c- and at that moment Cookie would join them which would piss off Katie cos she wants alone time with Tony so she'd tell him to fuck off and Cook would say something sexually suggestive and give her a silly nickname and Tony would suggest that he go over to Freffy and do something illegal and Cook would cos he and Tony are like totes BFFs now and Cook looks up to him. Katie would see how Tony manipulated Cook and like Tony even more and Tony would tell her about his Ceffy masterplan and Katie would like the idea cos I mean, who doesn't like Ceffy right? So then they'd be done talking and they'd go dance. And it woud be super hot with lots of grinding their lower regions against each other and then they'd eventually share a super hot kiss and Katie would lead him to the bathroom cos as classy as she is she just can't resist him. They'd have some hot sex.
Meanwhile Panda would have seen them and been slightly saddened because she lost the imaginary chance with Tony. Then Thomas would comfort her and that would be one couple sorted. (Naomily are happy cos I can't stand their angst anymore and JJ's single).
So Cookie would join Freffy and Freddie would ask for advice on winning Tony over cos he get's the feeling that the elder Stonem dislikes his winning personality. And Effy would tell him that Tony would like him eventually and Cook would be like why doesn't he like you, he likes me just fine and Effy would be like why does he like you so much?
Then we'd skip to morning after where Effy would join Tony for breakfast and she'd tell him she knows what he's doing because, she would know and he'd play dumb and then Katie would come downstairs in last nights clothes and Effy would be WTF-ing while Katie would kiss Tony goodbye just to piss her off and Tony would do his Tony smirk.
And you know what, I could keep going telling you this awesome story but it's late, I'm tired, you're probably bored and it would make an awesome fanfic (if I ever wrote it).
