So the new Foo Fighters album is out now (although I've been listening to it for a few weeks already) and it absolutely rocks. Difficult to listen to on headphones or in the car though, because most of the songs start out soft and then go loud halfway through, which leads to a lot of fiddling with the volume and potential hearing damage :P
My Vodafone contract *finally* expires in two days' time, so if anyone still has 021 612 567 stored and not my 027 that I've had for a year now, let me know.
I've come once again to that stark realisation that I am in absolute need of a part time job. Even with great reductions in expenditure, there's absolutely no way for me to crawl out of debt on the Student Allowance alone. So it's time for another "Quest for Employment", and hopefully this time it'll net me better than a graveyard at Caltex.
Study isn't going quite as well as it could be, I've dropped the ball on one of my papers this semester. I've decided that with Massey I actually really prefer being there in person. Media Skills has been such a fun paper, and I know that I wouldn't be enjopying it nearly as much sitting at home reading all the time with no tutor or fellow students. I already have a few papers planned for next year which are practical, hands-on ones which should be a lot of fun. So a move to palmy might be in the cards some time.
There hasn't really been much flow to this post, so I might as well finish here.
