Finally moving along!

So I thought I was bankrupt for a minute there, then my power bill showed up. I'm going to make sure I quote this accurately:

$5.65

So I'm not as worried as I was, that's for sure. I do have to start paying rent here soon, as the pool for that has dried up, but I have hopes. I've finally bitten the bullet and cashed my inheritance cheque which I'll use to get myself out of Credit Card Debt. The original plan was to get Laser Eye Surgery (not to be confused with Eye Laser Surgery), but that will have to wait.

Today's already been the busiest day I've had in a long time, and normally I wouldn't even be awake yet. I rolled into KiwiWebs at 9am to have a chat to Nigel Morris about him hiring me as a web programmer. I'd gone to him a couple of months ago but didn't get the chance to follow up what with the torrent of other crap elsewhere. So he emailed me this weekend and said "come in, we'll have a chat", and it went okay. I know I'm not up to current standards for the job, but I can tell he wants to hire me - I just need to prove I can adapt and learn very quickly - thus he's given me the assignment of making a copy of the ICE site with some crazy thing called "Joomla". I think I can do it, but it'll take some work. I haven't been given a deadline, but I figure the sooner the better.

I finally got my 21st watches fitted, so now I have a classy Gold-plated watch on my left, and a sporty G-Shock on my right. It's pretty cool, but it'll take a while to get used to - I've never really been a watch-wearing kinda guy.

I'm right back into all my ICE work - I've been tightening up the ESD script, also on my list is finish voicing Killing You... The Other Day, get commentary on the Deathmatches, and harshly editing the Voice of Electronics (which I'll need Jessie's help with, we're missing a scene which actually brings the most laughs of the whole thing).

So I figured I'd stop by here on my way to continuing to be mightily productive!
