I have often heard those here wishing for "a drink". While I have made every effort to include beverages with each meal I cook, I have recently learned that "a drink" often refers to a drink that is alcoholic. While I could not find a recipe for such in any of my books, one of the kitchen assistants had a recipe for "a drink" he calls Prison Hooch ( Read more... )

Yes!

It is not the same burning one speaks of when meaning something that is an actual fire, but a hot sensation in one's chest that indicates fighting spirit.
