Way to be speedy on shipping, Old Navy! I purchased that coat on the 10th (Saturday) and it made it here by today (Wednesday) and Monday was a holiday. Amazing.
But unfortunately, I think the jacket makes me look kind of dumpy and so I'm going to send it back. It might be cute if it was tailored more, but I still do have my lovely Ann Taylor peacoat that I like much better. It just wasn't meant to be.
I think it's kind of bogus that Old Navy only has plus sizes online, so you can't really try something before you buy it. However, it was on sale and I didn't have to pay for shipping, and you can return things in stores so I won't have to pay to ship it back to them.
So much for frivolous wintertime spending. I tried, universe, I really tried.
Anyone catch Project Runway tonight? Best PR line of all time? "Her model looked like she was pooing fabric."
