i have an unusually large amount of energy this morning.

decided to take it one step further and wrote a gui for my
cache simulation assignment. take that! i'm hoping to get
some bonus points for being one of the only 2 people that
turned it in on time. the first 2 assignments hurt me pretty
badly, so i can definitely use the points.

is it true that chicks dig unix? somebody help me here.
my hardware should be arriving via fedex sometime today.
i ordered: one western digital 160 GB hard drive, one 512
stick of mushkin PC3200 DDRAM, and one samsung DVD+/-RW
16X drive. and when i put the HD in, i'm finally going to
start using XP. i'll actually probably have a dual boot,
Linux/Win machine. i haven't decided which distribution of
linux to use. probably start with a knoppix hard drive
install, since it's straightforward and simple. point and
click. congratulations. that kind of thing. when i get some
more free time i might look into actually installing debian.
i like it best so far. the benefits of a knoppix install
are plentiful though.
