(no subject)
so, the project with my car is making some progress.
i put in a power indicator light for my amp yesterday,
so i won't forget to turn off the switch before i get
out of the car. i haven't put in the volume knob yet,
but i'll probably do that soon. i'm gonna try to build
some custom circuits for lighting, but i don't know
very much about that stuff, so it'll take a lot of
testing and stuff.
saturday i helped zach put up some equipment for olive
street dance hall. he knew the owner and the guy wanted
to install a sound/projector system for watching football
and movies. it was supposed to be a five hour job, but
ended up taking close to twelve. it was fun, though, and
i got paid some cash for it. i like doing that kind of
stuff.
last night i was at b.a.m. and jay approached me with a
business proposal. it sounds interesting, but i'm unaware
of many of the details. i have a really good job now with
benefits, so i'm just a bit wary of going head-first into
anything with high potential risk (such as a start-up bus).
i'm just gonna play this one by ear and hope for the best.
other than that, this weekend i mostly spent with reuben.
he's growing up so fast! before i know it he's going to be
in school and i'm gonna be an old, old man. yep.
oh, and ditching work is fun. i did it today because there
was absolutely nothing to do. i think about three or
four of us left before nine. next week starts one of those
crazy month long busy periods, so i figured i should get some
off-time while i can. maybe i should go home until my 12:30
class. hanging out on campus has never been too much fun for
me. i can never find anyone until i have to be in class. sucks.
damn, i have written a lot more than i thought i would.
