Just interviewed at the Institute for Transportation Studies. Don't know if I'll get the job, but I would appreciate getting to interact with Urban Planning professors and grad students. We'll see. The interview went okay, not superb. My interviewer definitely had more questions for me than I expected. Among them, the cliche, "What are your greatest strengths?"
I was soooo tempted to reply with: "Why don't I tell you what my greatest weaknesses are? I work too hard. I care too much. And sometimes I can be too invested in my job."
I ended up giving him some suck up answer about being detail-oriented, organized and easy to get along with (true, true, and somewhat true), but I had to fight the giggles. It's true. I'm twelve.
mcsassyass will probably be the only one to appreciate the reference.
