will this class ever go away?

A couple of weeks ago, a classmate that I befriended during the Urban Planning 120 fiasco sent me a Facebook message. "Indeed, Urban Planning is a step up from my cutting in high school."

That pretty much summed up the experience. Most of you heard/read my many a rant on how the class had really great material, but had the workload of a graduate course.  I was also stuck with two less than ideal group members. One couldn't write to save her life, the other lacked the spine to complain about it. Which pretty much left me to call the former at odd hours of the night to ask her to proofread her paper and give her a crash course on writing COHERENTLY. This is a task I've yet to master myself, so we were all basically screwed.

I got a B+ in said class after many sleepless nights and proofreading frenzies. I was too exhausted from the experience to even whine about the B+ tarnishing my straight A streak in the Urban Planning department. Whatever. I can finally sleep soundly.

Today, I visit my counselor at AAP to chat up unit caps, expected degree terms and the like. She gave me a copy Degree Progress Report, because she's so nice and people at AAP do that for you just cause, apparently. It wasn't until I got back to my desk that I saw this:

Term 07S
URBN PL 120 CITIES AND PLANNING A- 4.0 N1
GRADE CHANGED
ENGL 150A EARLY MEDIEVAL LIT A- 5.0

To what or whom this miracle may be attributed to, I know not. Probably Eric Morris, my nerdy genius TA. But I'll take it.

I'm graduating in June, but taking summer session A. Because I'd be an idiot not to take on the best Geography department in the country.
